I found this
wonderful solid brass cog. I love the uneven edges and shiny sides
of the piece so I needed to be able to see those parts. I always
thought of the shape as being a part of the inner workings of
an object so it became the symbolic of the hidden emotions of
a person. She appears dreamy but within there lies the constant
need to balance oneself with the conflicts of the world.
