Monica is a dynamic combination of materials. The warm wood blends with the strongly colored alabaster. This stone used for the torso repeats the wood grain texture in its veining.. It needed a strong but simplistic material to finish it off. The black head does exactly that. The face reflects a calmness that allows the beauty of the materals to shine forth.
